Tseung Kwan O Community Vaccination Centre is NOW opened!

The Tseung Kwan O Community Vaccination Centre (TKO CVC) (managed by Town Health Group) is now in service! Eligible members of the Priority Groups may make reservations at TKO CVC to receive the COVID-19 vaccines for FREE

 

(A)  Information of TKO CVC

Address: Tseung Kwan O Stadium, 9 Wan Lung Road, Tseung Kwan O, N.T. (Po Lam MTR Exit C)

Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily

Types of Vaccines: CoronaVac by Sinovac is provided for now (information on the provision of Comirnaty by BioNTech will be announced later)

Remark: Currently only eligible members of the Priority Groups will be arranged vaccination. Eligible persons must reserve the time and place of their vaccination through the 24-hour online booking system ( https://booking.covidvaccine.gov.hk/forms/ ) of the Government.

 

(B) Priority Groups

(1) Persons aged 60 years or above (a maximum of two carers who accompany elderly people aged 70 or above can also receive vaccination)

(2) Personnel in healthcare settings and those participating in anti-epidemic related work

(3) Residents and staff of residential care homes for the elderly / persons with disabilities

(4) Personnel maintaining critical public services

(5) Personnel providing cross-boundary transportation or working at control points and ports

(6) Staff of food and beverages premises, markets, supermarkets, convenience stores and couriers (including takeaway food delivery)

(7) Staff of local public transport service operators (e.g., taxi / bus / public light bus drivers, train captains and station staff)

(8) Registered construction workers

(9) Staff of property management (e.g., security guards, cleaning staff and property management office staff)

(10) Teachers and school staff (e.g., teaching and support staff of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and universities; staff of special schools; and drivers and escorts of school buses and school private light buses)

(11) Staff of the tourism industry

(12) Staff of scheduled premises under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) (e.g., staff of fitness centres and beauty parlours)

 

(C) Location Map of TKO CVC

Methods to get to TKO CVC: after arriving Po Lam MTR (Exit C),

(1) Take the Bus Route #296M, alight at the Tseung Kwan O Swimming Pool Bus-stop;

(2) Take the Mini-bus Routes #10M (from Tseung Kwan O to Kwun Tong) or #115 (from Po Lam to Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate), alight at Tseung Kwan O Stadium;

(3) Take a stroll (approx. 7 minutes’ walk) from Po Lam MTR (Exit C) to Tseung Kwan O Stadium (via Mau Yip Road, Wan Hang Road and Wan Lung Road)

 

(D)  Possible side effects after receiving vaccination

lThere may be some side effects after receiving Covid-19 vaccination. If needed, please seek medical

advice from your doctor before receiving the vaccination.

lAfter receiving the vaccination, please stay in the resting area for 30 minutes before leaving the CVC.

Common side effects includes injection site swelling and pain, headache, fever, myalgia, chills, etc...

lAfter receiving the vaccination, take rest and drink plenty of fluids. If needed, take paracetamo to

to relieve pain and reduce fever.

lIf the condition continues after 24 hours, or the condition is worrying you, please contact your doctor

for assessment. Town Health clinics are available at the following locations

lIf you think you might be having a severe reaction (e.g., difficulty in breathing, rashes on the body

etc.), please seek medical help immediately.

Provide free influenza vaccination and pneumococcal vaccination to eligible persons

As the winter influenza season is coming, our group will provide free influenza vaccination to eligble high-risk groups of Hong Kong residents. For all the persons aged 6 months or above, are also recommended to receive seasonal influenza vaccination for personal protection.

Eligible Group:

1 Person aged 65 year or above

2 Person between aged 50-65

3 Pregrant women with valid certificate for wavier of medical charges

There is a tightly supply of influenza vaccines. Please contact our medical centre for details.
